These highly finished firearms have been designed for collectors!  Many of them have been featured in magazines or debuted at shows.  The pieces are available for purchase, and, in most cases, will need to go through your local FFL holder as per your local, state, and federal regulations.

The Gentleman's Friend
(see also The Pocket Pistol under custom firearms)
The Gentleman's friend starts with an Uberti pocket Dragoon or a Wells Fargo
model.  With this pistol as a base there is no need to fill the loading lever
channel which gives a cleaner line to the barrel.

During the process all the internal parts are re-heat treated.  The firearm is
then converted to 32 Smith & Wessonusing the new Kirst 1849 converter and
refinished using traditional 19th century finishes.  This includes:
-bone case colored frame & hammer
   -charcoal blued barrel & cylinder
   -nitre blued screws.

The engraving on this revolver is done in a vine style with gold inlaid wedding bands and outlines by engraver Rocky Hays.

The mahogany wood case is modeled after an original Paterson case, like
the ones early '49s were cased in, and lined with hand-dyed green velvet.  It is filled with a hand-crafted cleaning rod/shell ejector.  The accompanying ammunition tin is loosely based on Ely tins and filled with Ten-Xcartridges.

The Paterson Project
For both these custom items we start with an Uberti number 5 Paterson.  We remove all the Italian markings and then change the profile of the barrel lug to match the original. They are refinished using traditional 19th century finishes including a frame that is charcoal blued in a bright blue like the original, some color cased small parts, and highly polished screws.

Paterson without Loading Lever
The pistol without the loading lever rests in a mahogany wood case that is modeled after an original Paterson case and lined with hand-dyed velvet.
It is filled with authentic accessories including a hand-crafted reproduction of the Colt Charger flask.

This is the only one available -the Uberti line has been since discontinued so this is a real collectible.

Paterson with Loading Lever
The Paterson with the loading lever is in a replica of a very rare loading lever case.  It is filled with a hand-crafted reproduction Paterson screwdriver and cleaning rod as well as a reproduction single spout plunger flask.

This is also the only one available --with the same collectability as the
previous Paterson.

The Walker Prototype
This reproduction of the prototype Walker is a real one-of-a kind.  Its slightly mysterious history starts with an unknown gunsmith who carefully began crafting this firearm.  Some years later a fortunate find brought the unfinished piece into our Custom Shop.

We finished it using traditional 19th century finishes including a frame that
is bone color cased and a barrel that has been charcoal blued like original Colts. It is cased with original style accessories in a Paterson style case.

This is a one of a kind!
